Determinación del régimen medio y extremo del nivel del mar, en esteros y ríos con dinámica mareal en la Bahía de Tumaco

In this work the means and extreme regime sea levels in estuaries and rivers were determined with tidal dynamics in the Tumaco Bay, using the methodology described by Otero in 2005; therefore, the astronomical and meteorological tides were analyzed separately, which determine the sea level at any time. Regarding the study of the astronomical tide, harmonic analysis and tide numerical models were used, and for the meteorological tide, the simulation methods based on the Montecarlo techniques were used. The results of the means and extreme regime sea levels for the Aguaclara, Resurrección, Trapiche, Cuellar, El Mico, and Llanaje estuaries, and for the Rosario, Colorado and Curay Rivers are shown.Downloads
