Treatment and processing of radar images is completely different compared to conventional images. In this case a Radarsat image (September 2000) was processed and some geomorphologic characteristics in the area of Cartagena were distinguished alter the application of filters and texture analysis. Each one of them gives a completely different result and like this different characteristics of the image and observed scene can be appreciated. Selection of the type of processing depends entirely of the researcher's objective. Application of filters on this image gave good results for the easily definition of areas with some type of relief.Downloads
