Four SPOT satellite images are studied from the Cartagena de Indias bay, taken by the High Resolution Visible radiometer functioning on the multiespectral mode dated: march 27, 1986; november 10, 1987; march 7, 1990 and december 20, 1990.
Each one of the images was corrected radiometrically in terms of scattereded and calibrated reflectance based on concentration of solids in suspension measured in NTU.
The obtained thematical charts of isolines have been included in the database wich the Centro de Investigaciones Oceanográficas e Hidrográficas gives in SIG enviroment, as new data far the storage, processing, analisis and distribution center concerning the coast zone of the Colombian Caribbean.
These images show the different water masses behavior through sediments in suspension. A clasification of the situations presented was obtained.
