Thirty-eight (38) species of pennate diatoms and eight (8) of dinoflagellates found in Islas del Rosario and surroundings, are studied particularly. Seventy-four (74) species of pinnate diatoms, as belonging to ticoplancton and some dinoflagellates (49) are listed for this zone. Ranges of Salinity (o/oo) and of Temperature (ºC) within which the species were found are included, along with maps of the different stations and localization lists for the species. At the end, series of photomicographs and drawings of the studied species are also included.
