The development of interdisciplinary maritime and underwater archaeological research on Underwater Cultural Heritage submerged in Colombian waters has been exposed to considerable growth in recent years. Particularly in the Caribbean, studies have been proposed not only towards the continental portion of Colombia but also in the Archipelago of San Andres, Providencia and Santa Catalina. There scientific approaches have been advanced, interested in inventorying and characterizing underwater cultural resources that can provide valuable historical and cultural information about the past of human societies. Under this premise, this article aims to present the interdisciplinary analyses proposed in Courtwon Cays within the framework of the Expedición Científica Seaflower of the year 2022, particularly to understand the patterns of navigability, accidentality and sinking in the region, in order to contribute to the national registry and inventory of the Underwater Cultural Heritage of the Archipelago. The above, applying inter-institutional methodological proposals applied in recent years in different parts of the Colombian Caribbean
