Relación climatológica de la temperatura superficial del Pacífico colombiano sobre el fitoplancton marino durante el Niño 1991-92

The analysis was done in the geographical area of the ERFEN comprehended between 2º N and 6º N and 82º W, specifically in the zones north of the Colombia Pacific (Cabo Corrientes), Line Buenaventura-Malpelo, Line Tumaco, studying surface phytoplancton in two seasons characteristics to the Pacific and having the reference of existing historic data.
The presence of the environmental parameter temperature on the distribution of a marine ecosystem as the surface marine phytoplankton showed, that the species identified as biological indicators of the “El Niño” coincide with the beginning of the indicative thermal anomalies of the evolution of a hot event; also phytoplankton fount in the study period, show a mixture of very different elements with an ample ecological composition, indicating waters of different origin: coastal and oceanic.
More information is presented with the aim of complementing the knowledge on the environmental changes made by the “El Niño” and in this way, complete the physical-chemical an fisheries analysis allowing approximations in the orientation of activities that could be affected, like fisheries strategies, measures in aquaculture, market decisions, management of hydrological resources.
