The formulation of a hydrodynamic model for the Dique channel system is presented. The model serves as the base for the water quality modeling in the channel and its lagunar system. Some results of model pre calibration are shown, the influence of the channel branches toward the Barbacoas Bay on the hydraulic behavior of the channel is estimated. The modeled distributions of suspended material and transparency along the channel are presented.Downloads
