This paper describes the results obtained by the secuential monitoring of stations in Cartagena Bay during 1999-2000. The three climatic seasons of the year were taken into consideration.
The highest values were round during the transitional and wet season. Where it exists a close correlation between bacteria' pollution and the precipitation in the area. However, during the whole year a cronic pollution in the Bay can be observed, which exceeds the allowed limits for a primary and secondary contact.
