The analysis of the parameters internationally established to share the oceanographic information and the reviewing of the data gathered by the Maritime General Direction research centers, permitted the elaboration of a methodology to process oceanographic data taken by CDT, which permit the user or researcher to get good quality data to be utilized in oceanographic research or projects. Methodologies applied by some of the worldwide most important oceanographic research centers were reviewed. Are vision of the information gathered by the Colombia Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CIOH) was undertaken, during the cruises carried out up to 2006. The foregoing permitted the submission of a methodological proposition for the oceanographic data on temperatures and salinity quality control obtained with DT, using a program in which the user interacted within the different quality control levels. This methodology was applied to the Cruise Caribe 2002 data, eliminating the errors contained in the cruise information to finally have it displayed in graphs and carry out the corresponding oceanographic analysis.Downloads
